ISLAMABAD, November 2, 2017: National Coordinator-NACTA, Mr. Ihsan Ghani said on Thursday that NACTA would initiate dialogues between madrassahs and universities aimed to achieve destiny of tolerant and peaceful society by promoting debates and dialogues in the country.
He was replying to question raised by a student while addressing the students of Bahria University (BU) as chief guest at interactive session / seminar on ‘Peace and Tolerance — Youth Centrality’. The session was the fifth of the series of Youth Engagement Program by NACTA. The event was organized in collaboration with Bahria University.
He said that the initiative of conducting dialogues between students of madrassahs and universities through seminars, interactive sessions, courses and conferences will help bringing youth segment of the society, which forms 60% of population, closer and better understanding of each other to form a tolerant society.
He invited the students to lend hand of cooperation to NACTA in countering extremism through contributing research papers and articles on the issue of extremism, for the Authority, adding that the state would achieve the goal of extremism-free society jointly in collaboration with the people, particularly youths in the country.
Earlier, students of BU delivered their speeches on peace, tolerance and conflicts and emphasized promoting culture of peaceful coexistence.

A large number of students attended the interactive session.
