RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NATIONAL SHORT FILM CONTEST 2021

NACTA announced a National Short Film Contest on the theme of Tolerant society, peaceful co-existence to make people think about peace & harmony in society. The contest was announced in March, 2021 and closed on 30th June,2021. The entries received were evaluated by a committee of experts. After critically evaluating all the entries the committee unanimously decided that no entry qualifies for the grand prize.

However, in order to acknowledge and encourage the participants, following 2 videos are selected for consolation prize:

  1. “Sunrise”—by Yusra Atiq—1st Consolation Prize of Rs. 10,000/- and Certificate of appreciation
  2. “The Devil Behind Violence”—by Zaheer Mukhtar—2nd Consolation Prize of Rs. 5,000/- and Certificate of appreciation

The committee also decided to re-announce the contest once the COVID situation improves in the country.

We hope all the existing and budding filmmakers would welcome this second opportunity to express their creativity and start working on their ideas.

Best of luck!
