The Directors-General from the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) of Pakistan, including those from the Counter Terrorism (CT), Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE), and Research & Development (R&D) wings, engaged in a productive dialogue with a delegation from the European Union’s Directorate-General for Home Affairs (DG HOME) during a meeting held at NACTA headquarters today.

The meeting focused on fostering collaboration on critical challenges falling under DG HOME’s purview, such as organized crimes, drugs, counter-terrorism and P/CVE efforts. The discussion explored potential avenues for enhanced cooperation between Europol and NACTA, highlighting the commitment to a united front against shared threats. This collaborative approach underscores the mutual understanding of the complex nature of these challenges and the importance of international cooperation in addressing them effectively.
