Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visits NACTA HQ. IGP Rai Tahir, Head of NACTA briefs him on country’s security situation: Terrorism will be defeated with full force. Extremist ideologies & narratives will be countered with Pakistan’s National Narrative against terrorism & extremism. Cyber space will be denied to extremists. Digital Media will be used to propagate National Narrative. NACTA will be provided resources. New National CT operational institution will be set up to fight terrorism at national & international level through intelligence based operations (IBOs). NACTA’s National Threat Assessment Reports will be used by LEAs. NACTA’s Recommendations on National Action Plan will be implemented. Provincial CTDs will be strengthened.
