Workshop on Preventing Violent Extremism at Government Higher Secondary School Latifal, Chakwal

NACTA holds a workshop on Preventing Violent Extremism at Government Higher Secondary School Latifal, Chakwal today.

During the workshop students were engaged in different activities by Senior Analyst Ms. Zooni Ashfaq and Jr. Analyst Ms. Nayyab Batool. The children made cards, peace chain and shared their thoughts on significance of peace in a society and how they can contribute towards it.

Director General Communications and Outreach Saleha Zakir Shah addressed the students and urged them to play their role for development and progress of the country.

She underscored the importance of creating a place society that enables all its members to progress.

In his note of thanks, the school’s principal Mr. Shafqat Mahmood expressed his gratitude to NACTA for holding a workshop at GHSS, Latifal. He mentioned that within a span of 3 years the school has developed to become one of the best schools in Chakwal.

Ms. Hajra Haq, CEO of the Education Reform Wing-Qazi Foundation, expressed her gratitude to Team NACTA, underscoring the pivotal role of education in fostering peace and cultivating a positive mindset among the youth.

Later, the NACTA team toured the school and certificates were distributed among the students.
