19th Meeting of National Task Force on CFT-Inclusion of Additional Relevant Departments to Multilateral MOU through Addendum

Today on 10^th March, 2021, 19^th meeting of National Task Force on CFT was held to include Home departments Punjab, KP, Sindh, Balochistan, GB, AJ&K, Chief Commissioner office ICT and Counter Terrorism Departments of AJ&K, GB and ICT through addendum to the Multilateral MOU between LEAs, FMU, and Intelligence Agencies for enhancing cooperation in CFT matters and sharing of financial intelligence at NACTA Head Quarters Islamabad. Meeting was chaired by Mr. Asif Saifullah Paracha, Member (Policy)NACTA. During this meeting Addendum to the MMOU was signed by the representatives of the relevant agencies and Departments.

It is pertinent to mention here that MMOU was signed in NACTA Head Quarters on 9^th April 2019 between fourteen (14) agencies i.e. FIA, provincial CTDs, FMU, Inland Revenue-FBR, Customs, ANF, NAB, intelligence agencies and NACTA.
The Multilateral MOU has been providing an umbrella platform to all the federal and provincial law enforcement, intelligence and other agencies to improve upon mutual cooperation.
