The terrorism financing threats faced by Pakistan needs to be mitigated by continued implementation of Counter Terrorist Financing (CFT) policies and measures by all concerned. In this backdrop, Pakistan is fully committed to meet its obligations to combat financing of terrorism through stern actions by law enforcing agencies and other organizations, continuous improvement of CFT regime and by implementing AML/CFT measures in the country.

NACTA’s CFT Wing is engaged in developing CFT policies, SOPs and Guidelines for LEAs and other authorities, conducts terrorist financing risk assessments, ensures smooth federal-provincial inter-agency coordination, coordinates with LEAs including provincial CTDs, MOI, FMU, MOFA, financial supervisors and other agencies/departments for compliance of FATF obligations and takes steps to ensure adequate capacity and resources in LEAs/other authorities involved in TF investigations.

The CFT Wing is headed by a Director General and includes other officers and support staff.
