International Workshop on Virtual Assets in Vienna(Austria)

In order to develop better understanding of Virtual Assets in the context of terror financing and criminal investigations, NACTA in collaboration with UNODC conducted a foreign workshop in Vienna for the CT officials of Pakistan. DG CFT and AD CFT NACTA were nominated by NC NACTA to take part in the subject workshop. During the workshop international experts conducted sessions with CT Officials of Pakistan on enhancing their understanding of crypto ecosystem including Block-chain technology, crypto exchanges, crypto regulations and investigations. Officials were also given a first-hand experience of using investigative tools used for profiling and tracing of suspicious crypto transactions.
