NACTA & Shaoor Foundation Organized Vice Chancellors Conference at Peshawar

In an effort to strengthen peace and tolerance at Universities, Shaoor Foundation for Education & Awareness (SFEA) in collaboration with National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and Quaid e Azam University Islamabad organized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Vice Chancellor’s round table conference at Peshawar. The event was participated by 15 honorable Vice-Chancellors from public & private sector universities of the province along with Director Outreach NACTA and VC Quaid e Azam University.

The participants of the conference discussed causes and forms of extremism at higher education campuses. The worthy VCs also deliberated upon and approved the set of recommendations for the promotion of peace at the universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa developed under PACT for Tolerance project through structured interviews of the Vice Chancellors, Key Informant Interviews (KII) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with key policy stakeholders.
