To promote a sustainable tolerant environment at the educational campuses, National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA), in collaboration with Shaoor Foundation and Quaid-i-Azam University, organized a Vice Chancellors’ round table conference at Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad on 10th February 2021.
More than 20 Vice-Chancellors from Punjab and Islamabad, Director General NACTA, Director General Islamic Research Institute (IRI) – Paigham-e-Pakistan and others attended the event.
The participants of the conference discussed in detail the issue of extremism and deliberated upon the approved set of recommendations that PACT for Tolerance project has developed as a result of 41 structured interviews of the VCs and 16 Focus Group discussions with university administrative staff, faculty members, students, and key policy stakeholders.
