NACTA mandated Committee of Experts met for the first time at NACTA headquarters on 3rd February 2021 to discuss ways and means on strengthening NACTA.

The National Coordinator NACTA chaired the eight-member Committee of Experts meeting which was represented by Member Policy NACTA, Member Intelligence Wing NACTA, DGs Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Coordination, Outreach and Administration of NACTA along with two external experts Mr. Tariq Parvez and Mr. Khawaja Khalid Farooq, both the experts were retired Inspector Generals of Police having wast experience in law enforcement, security and legal matters with additional edge of being amongst the  former National Coordinators of NACTA.

The Committee discussed amendments made in NACTA Act 2020, modalities for strengthening formal linkages between CTDs and NACTA, framing of NACTA Service Regulations, hiring of Quality Human Resources and reviewing of NAP and its formulation in detail.
